We are blessed to be part of a church that is led by a God-appointed visionary, Pastor Eben Conner. His leadership, faith, and dedication have shaped our church and empowered us to grow in Christ. As we continue to build and move forward in unity, it’s important that we take a moment to reflect on the incredible vision that God has placed on his heart for this ministry.
On October 22, we will be celebrating Value the Visionary! This special day is dedicated to honoring Pastor Eben for his unwavering commitment to God’s calling and for the spiritual guidance he has provided to all of us at Word of Truth.
Why Value the Visionary?
The Bible reminds us that God works through His leaders to guide His people. Hebrews 13:17 says, “Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account.” As we recognize the spiritual oversight and responsibility our pastor carries, we are called to support and value him.
How Can We Show Our Appreciation on Value the Visionary Day?
- Pray for Pastor Eben and his family: Cover them in prayer for wisdom, strength, and continued guidance from the Holy Spirit.
- Serve with commitment: Pastor Eben’s vision for our church depends on each of us stepping up in faith to serve. Whether it’s volunteering, leading a group, or simply being active in your faith, your involvement matters.
- Special Gift: During the service, we will also be setting aside a time for each of us to sow a seed into the life of our visionary.
