The production will show during all 3 services: 8:30am, 10:30am, and 12:30pm.
The Gift of Life 2 is a faith-based futuristic story set in the year 2067, following a devastating famine war. The story centers around a Young girl name Bayou, who is living in a shelter ran by the eccentric and wise Mr. Penny, who uses candy shops as havens for those displaced by war.
This story is set in motion when Younger Bayou receives a mysterious phone call. Who was this mysterious caller? Bayou has to decide to stay in her comfort zone and just wait out the war or embark on a dangerous journey to the war-torn land of Yudirama where lots of family history secrets are uncovered. Will she choose to navigate a world of corrupt leaders while uncovering long lost family secrets. Along the way, she and her companions a group of skeptical lawyers and shelter residents, learn more about their “Spiritual Gifts” (prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, discernment, and administration) and their willingness to trust God through the “pressing and suffering stages of life. This journey takes us back to the cross and Bayou discovers what it’s like to be discipled. Accepting Jesus, uncovering the meaning behind the death burial and resurrection and gaining access to eternal life really is how this story all connects together.
What is the cost of the production?
There is absolutely no cost; it is FREE for everyone.
Is childcare provided?
There will be no childcare during the Friday evening production, as children of all ages are invited to join their parents for the productions. Childcare will be provided for the Sunday morning showings.
What is the length of the service?
The length of the service will be approximately an hour, to an hour and a half.
Do you use special effects?
Yes, there may be LED’s, strobe lights, haze fog, loud noises and other special effects during the performance.
